Queen’s University is a public research university situated in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Queen’s is one of the leading universities in Canada in terms of rankings. It was founded in 1841 by the royal charter of Queen Victoria. The university’s mission is to “educate students for life, research excellence and service in a changing world.” The University has undergone many changes and expansions over the years and is now comprised of several academic faculties, schools, research centres, libraries and clinics. Queen’s offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees and diploma programs. These cover a variety of areas including, business, engineering, science, law, medicine, arts and humanities. The University is part of the prestigious U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities.
