We were shocked and appalled to hear that doctors and dentists are openly spewing hate. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable, and we need to take steps to identify and address it.
The first step would be for our online campaign to spread awareness of the signs of antisemitism, and the potential for it to occur in any context, so that more people can recognize it and speak out against it. We should also work with reliable partners to contact medical and dental professionals directly, to encourage them to confront any expression of hatred or discrimination.
We can also seek to engage with any government or private entities with a role in healthcare provision, to ensure that any professional found to be promoting hatred or discrimination is immediately suspended or subjected to appropriate disciplinary action.
Finally, we need to ensure that there are adequate support services available to ensure the victims of such discrimination can receive counselling, advice, and other necessary assistance.
We must always remember that even one professional expressing such hateful views is too many. By working together, we can fight back against antisemitism and ensure everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
