Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has strongly denounced President Donald Trump and his affiliates for engaging in a “cover-up” of Joe Biden’s role in his son’s business dealings in Ukraine. Biden has denied any involvement, and the whistleblower complaint published on the Intelligence Community’s website has been largely unable to verify or disprove the accusations.
Meanwhile, the impeachment inquiry into Trump’s conduct in Ukraine continues. The House is now investigating the White House’s involvement in freezing hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid to Ukraine, and reports of a quid pro quo in which Trump urged Ukraine to investigate Biden in exchange for the money. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.
