Chinese game developer Cashero Interactive has launched a new cryptocurrency game named ‘MetaCene’ to revive the crypto gaming scene in the country.
MetaCene is a blockchain-based game where players build their own space civilizations using their special currency called ‘CeshERC-20’. In the game, players will be able to obtain the currency by mining it or purchasing it from the MetaCene marketplace. Players then use the currency to buy different resources to build their own space civilizations and compete with other players. The game also features a variety of rewards for successful players, such as rare items, collectibles, and even real-world items.
MetaCene also features an in-game economic model, which allows players to generate revenue within the game. This focuses on trading resources, goods and currencies between players, in an effort to add a layer of realism to the game.
The game is currently in its alpha phase and is currently available only for users in China. Cashero Interactive will be launching the game in other countries in the future.
