The president also confirmed that some American citizens are being held hostage in the country, and he’s doing everything he can to ensure their safe return home. “Our hearts are with the families of those affected by this cowardly act of terror and I want to emphasize that the United States reaffirms our unbreakable bond with Israel,” he said.
