An aide to former Vice President Joe Biden, Christine Conley, has won the Democratic primary in the special election for Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District. She beat out two other candidates in the race and will now face off against Republican Robert Lancia in the May 1st special election. This race will fill the seat vacated after former Rep. Jim Langevin resigned in January to take a post in the Biden administration.
