Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has criticized President Trump as she threw her support to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in his upcoming race.
In a statement, Governor Reynolds criticized Trump for his comments concerning the DeSantis campaign. She affirmed her support for DeSantis and stated that she is “proud to stand with Governor DeSantis and support his candidacy.”
Reynolds added that DeSantis is a “truly selfless leader,” and that his accomplishments in Florida are something that every American should be proud of.
Reynolds also pushed back against Trump’s prior criticisms of DeSantis. She suggested that DeSantis is “doing his job and it is not for me to question his choices.” She added that the people of Florida will be best served by the successful record of accomplishments reflected by the DeSantis administration.
