Reports indicate that Dean Phillips, a U.S. congressman from Minnesota, has recently hired aids and political advisors with direct ties to Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang. The aides and political advisors were Xavier Kissam, a former spokesperson for Andrew Yang’s presidential campaign, and Joel Silberman, a former senior adviser to Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign. Silberman is currently serving as Phillips’ senior adviser for policy and communications.
