In July 2020, a London law firm rescinded job offers that had been made to seven Harvard Law School students due to their participation in an open letter. The letter was written by a number of Harvard Law students and faculty members, and sought to encourage Harvard Law School to better publicize and protect the rights of Palestinians. The firm, however, felt that the open letter and its contents were “too politicized.” This prompted them to withdraw their offers of employment.
