Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) has accused President Joe Biden of lying about not having any business dealings with his son, Hunter Biden. Rep. Banks pointed to a 2017 statement from Biden in which he claimed he had never spoken to Hunter about his business dealings. However, emails recently acquired by the New York Post show that Hunter and Joe spoke about Hunter’s business in Ukraine. Rep. Banks stated that Biden has “unequivocally lied” about his business dealings with Hunter. The Biden campaign has denied the allegations, calling them “baseless”. The issue has become a key talking point for Republicans pushing for an investigation into the emails.
