The Federal Election Commission has received a complaint that alleges a coordinated campaign of disinformation from the 2020 campaign of former Vice President Joe Biden. The complaint, filed by a conservative pro-Trump organization, alleged that the Biden campaign was using covert databases tracking opponents on social media, and that it was coordinating with outside groups to spread false information about the Trump campaign. The complaint also alleged that the Biden campaign was using deception in order to circumvent FEC campaign contribution limits. The Biden campaign has denied the allegations, noting that they operate in compliance with FEC regulations and have not engaged in any improper nor unlawful activities. The FEC will now investigate the complaint and determine whether or not to take any action.
