The Republican presidential nominating fight is not yet over since only a few states have held their nominating contests. So far, only 9 of the 50 states have held nominating contests, while the remainder of the states have yet to cast their votes. Furthermore, only 866 delegates have been allocated, while 1,276 delegates are needed to clinch the Republican presidential nomination. This means that the race is still wide open and a clear winner has yet to be determined.
