Rep. Goldman and family sheltered from Hamas rocket fire while in Israel for Bar Mitzvah

Rep. Goldman and his family did not experience any rocket fire while they were in Israel for the congressman’s son’s Bar Mitzvah. According to the congressman, the family was aware of the rocket fire and took precautionary steps during their trip, including avoiding areas that may have been dangerous. “At all times we took important security precautions…” he stated, “…we went to amazing parts of the country and never felt threatened.”
