GOP official’s wife convicted in months-long 2020 voter-fraud scheme

Rhonda Hart of Tuscarawas County, Ohio, has been convicted of a months-long voter fraud scheme during the 2020 presidential election. Hart, who is the wife of a prominent Republican county official, was charged with 32 felony counts of election falsification, conspiracy, and obstruction of justice. The scheme involved fraudulently submitting hundreds of absentee ballot applications in an attempt to influence the outcome of the election. Hart was found guilty by a jury and faces up to 16 years in prison.
